BEAM NDD
BEAM NDD explores how the BEAM program can support the mental health and wellbeing of families of children with neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD).
The program combines parent mental health support, parenting strategies, and connection to help address the unique challenges many families experience.
Why Adapt BEAM For NDD Families
Neurodevelopmental disorders (NDDs) are conditions that affect how a child’s brain develops, impacting learning, behaviour, and social skills. Such as: Autism, ADHD, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), Cerebral Palsy, and Intellectual Disability.
Families of children with neurodevelopmental disorders face unique stressors, particularly during long wait times for services.
BEAM offers accessible support that builds connection, community, and a sense of belonging.
